Why are we serving here?
One of the ways ForColumbia strives to love and serve our neighbors is by supporting non-profit organizations that actively work every day in the lives of people in Columbia. The Love Seat is a partner organization of Love Columbia and is doing its part to make a big impact in Columbia, transforming lives and communities. The Love Seat accepts donations from the community, and while they resell used items to the general public, they also donate a significant portion of basic furniture needs to families who are starting from the ground up.
What can I expect?
Volunteers will be working outside, helping to dig a trench and lay pipe at this site, though other projects may be identified as well.

What should I bring?
- Come prepared to work outside; if it’s sunny, we encourage you to bring sunscreen and/or a hat.
- We encourage all volunteers to wear closed-toed shoes.
- Be sure to wear your #ForColumbia T-shirt!
Can I serve here with my children?
Yes, teenage children are welcome to serve with their parents at this location.
