Why am I serving here?

One of the ways ForColumbia strives to love and serve our neighbors is by supporting non-profit organizations that actively work every day in the lives of people in Columbia. St. Raymond’s Society is one of those organizations working quietly but powerfully every day for the good of those in our community. This organization comes alongside women who choose life for their unborn child, supporting them during and after the pregnancy. This is why we believe your time will be well-spent serving here.

What can I expect?

ForColumbia volunteers will be working indoors and outside:

• Reorganizing the kitchen and deep cleaning;
• Painting the courtyard in the daycare;
• Clearing brush on the perimeter of the property;
• Landscaping and mulching, and;
• Other projects as identified.

What should I bring?

• Bring sunscreen and/or a hat for a sunny day if you are assigned to outdoor work.
• We encourage all volunteers to wear closed-toed shoes and bring a pair of garden gloves.
• Be sure to wear your #ForColumbia T-shirt!

Can I serve here with my children?

Yes, this is a family-friendly site, but please do not allow your children to paint.
