Why are we serving here?
One of the ways ForColumbia strives to love and serve our neighbors is by supporting non-profit organizations that actively work every day in the lives of people in Columbia. One of the ways we plan to serve local non-profits this year is by providing freezer meals for the individuals they serve. In addition, this year we will deliver freezer meals to each individual whose home is chosen as a serving site.
What can I expect?
ForColumbia volunteers will be serving indoors to prepare multiple freezer meals for families whose homes are serving sites this year; additional meals may also be provided to non-profits to distribute to families they serve. Additionally, a few volunteers will be able to deliver meals to these families and see how other ForColumbia volunteers serve in our community.
