Primrose Hill Teen Challenge

Serving Site Highlight: Primrose Hill Added to 2018 Serving Sites

ForColumbia is excited to have Primrose Hill as a service site once again in 2018. This faith-based residential recovery center, which opened its doors in November 2014, offers a safe, loving environment for women with young children who are recovering from drug and alcohol addictions. By offering a distraction-free environment, the women are able to focus on their rehabilitation with support from the staff and other residents.

Primrose Hill is one of 1,200 global Teen Challenge centers located internationally; however, they provide a unique niche in that Primrose is one of only 11 centers in the United States that allow children to live with their mother during the parent’s in-residence recovery.

An independent study completed several years ago showed an 85% success rate with those who completed the Teen Challenge program. Primrose Hill is already seeing positive outcomes in the lives of the women who have come to their residence for help. God is clearly at work in this organization as the residents’ stories are filled with changed hearts and changed lives newly dedicated to Christ.

Our goal is to identify serving opportunities in and around Columbia, many of which include working alongside non-profits and ministries that are already working sacrificially and powerfully in the lives of others all year long.

We are happy to include Primrose Hill Teen Challenge this year as we serve our city, side by side.
