Why are we serving here?

One of the ways ForColumbia strives to love and serve our neighbors is by serving those non-profit organizations that are actively working every day in the lives of people in Columbia.

MyLife Clinic provides free services and support to women facing unexpected pregnancies. Its mission is to inform, empower, and equip women to make life-affirming decisions about pregnancy, sexual health, and relationships by meeting them with Christ-like compassion. We want to come alongside this non-profit, which has faithfully provided these support resources in our community for over 20 years, and we believe your time will be well spent serving them.

What can I expect?

ForColumbia 2024 Volunteer T-ShirtsForColumbia volunteers will be working inside at this site:

  • painting multiple rooms and hallways;
  • replacing doors in the entire office, and;
  • other projects as identified.

What should I bring?

  • We encourage all volunteers to wear closed-toed shoes.
  • Volunteers should dress in clothing they don’t mind getting paint on.
  • Be sure to wear your #ForColumbia T-shirt!

Can I serve here with my children?

Because the majority of the work at this site involves painting and skilled work, it is not appropriate for children. However, high school students can serve here.
